There are châteaux Grand Corbin Manuel, Grand Corbin Despagne, Corbin and Corbin Michotte.
If Corbins’ wines are all diferents they qhow an evident family resemblance which some journalists discovered during a beautiful tasting of the vintages 2011 and 2012 organized on September 13th with the owners of the five vineyards: elegant wines with harmonious structure, silky tannins and in spicy aromas … wines which have their own personality but know how to play the hand of the vintage by keeping their soul.
Partners for four years, they share numerous actions and the same philosophy: an environment-friendly vine growing: plantation of adjacent hedges, shrubs and bushes with diverse sandalwood to protect the auxiliary fauna, the work of the ground, the project of a collective drainage on the bordering plots of their lands, common vocational trainings for the teams...
Regarding the Wine tourism they also decided to welcome the tourists alternately the weekend.
So, by appointment, every Saturday from May to October the "Corbin" welcome new visitors that, in the mean time discover the property and share the history and the philosophy of the five "Corbin" of which according to an old legend, during the Hundred Years' War " their fief " would have belonged to Prince Noir. Tastings abroad as well as communications actions are conducted in common.
As Yseult de Gaye-Nony from Château Grand Corbin Manuel explains, " it is the passion which guides ceaselessly the desire to improve ourselves by adapting us perfectly to the conditions we are confronted with and concerning 2013 a vintage full of excess and challenge, we made the maximum for our harvest " confided François Despagne the owner of Château Grand Corbin Despagne.
